Crews find part of Lake Lure’s Rainbow Bridge amid Helene debris

Almost one year since Hurricane Helene destroyed Lake Lure’s well-known and cherished Rainbow Bridge, crews cleaning out the lake discovered part of the pet memorial. The collars will be washed and saved, so they can be used for the rebuilt bridge, which is expected to be complete this spring.
