FARGO — The future home of Fargo’s new $40 million convention center took a small step forward on Friday, Sept. 26
Members of the Fargo Convention Center Committee ranked the nine bids submitted from developers and reviewed the four front-runners.
“These were all great proposals,” said committee chairman Charley Johnson. “But now we have nine to choose from. We get to be a little bit picky. … We are looking for the place that will provide the best visitor experience.”
Coming in first in the ranking with a score of 82.93 out of 100 was a proposal by Mutchler Bartram Architects and Drekker Brewing for a proposal west of Brewhalla at 1702 First Ave. N.
