SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The last celebration of festival season is almost here, as the Annual Fusion Fest returns to Howard Park this weekend.

But some community members are worried about the violence continuing in the city.

WNDU’s Emma Bratt has those safety protocols, and what’s new this Fusion Fest, to ensure everyone can have fun and enjoy the festival.

At Howard Park, crews are setting up the tents and stages, getting ready to open the gates tomorrow at noon. But before everyone can have fun, safety comes first.

So, our team spoke with local leaders about what precautions are being taken, to keep everyone as safe as possible.
