MARION — It appears Bill Belichick is back on the Massachusetts high school football trail.

The legendary ex-Patriots head coach attended Friday night's high-profile ISL matchup between host Tabor Academy and Milton Academy in Marion while his North Carolina Tarheels are on a bye week.

Tabor Academy is headlined by quarterback Peter Bourque , a four-star commit to the University of Michigan, and a pair of standout defensive linemen — Carter Gooden (four-star) and Marcus Almeida (three-star).

Both Gooden and Almeida committed to UCLA in July; however, Bruins head coach DeShaun Foster was fired two weeks ago as a result of the program's 0-3 start to the season. The two local recruits have since reopened their recruiting windows, and both posted on X about receiving offers from
