Julia Fox needs Taylor Swift ’s critics to calm down.

The Uncut Gems star spoke out in defense of the “Down Bad” singer—who is engaged to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce —as she called out online attacks directed at athletes’ wives and girlfriends (WAGs) when their partners underperform.

“I remember Travis Kelce lost a game, and then people were saying that it was Taylor Swift's fault,” Julia told Pedestrian.TV in an interview released Sept. 24. “It was like, ‘What? That's crazy!’ But blame women—they love to do that.”

Indeed, Julia, 35, pointed out that some sports fans’ impulse to hold a player’s romantic partner responsible for their performance on the field reflected a double standard.
