KENNER, La. —

No air conditioning, power, or lights. That's what some residents at a senior apartment complex in Kenner say they've been dealing with for more than a day now.

People living at the Westminster Tower senior apartments in Kenner sit outside on Friday because, inside, some say, they can't turn on the A/C, fans, or lights. Advertisement

They've been without power, some residents say, since about noon Thursday.

"Like after a hurricane," Herbert Barras said. "I'm glad this little cool front came through, less humidity, whatever it is. You can tolerate the night."

"My grandma has sweat dripping on her face; it was pretty hot," said Brittany Bourgeois, who came to pick up her grandmother.

Many say they haven't been offered help to relocate.
