With all of its bumps and potholes, drivers compare Franklin Avenue in New Orleans to an amusement park ride.

For Lennie Wesley, who lives on the corner of Franklin and North Galvez, dealing with the city of New Orleans has been its own wild ride.

“They even gave me a number, you know, passing me over from one person to another,” said Wesley. “And now I'm just at my wits' end, so I had to call you because I know that you get results."

According to Wesley, her house is leaning and sinking directly into North Galvez as a result of road problems, but the continued structural damage is a result of heavy vehicles and 18-wheelers on Franklin Avenue on a daily ba
