HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. — A home in Houston County suffered serious damage after a fire, fire chief Chris Stoner said.
According to Stoner, a two-story home saw significant damage due to a fire. He said that neighbors called the fire in around 7 p.m.
Stoner said that the fire happened at the two-story home on Antebellum Circle. He said that, when they arrived, they saw fire ravaging the back of the home.
Stoner said that the two adults who live in the home managed to escape without any injuries.
He added that, while the Houston County Fire Department was able to put the fire out, the back of the house and the attic suffered significant damage.
According to Stoner, firefighters are still at the scene.
