Police said they’ve made an arrest following the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man in Belmont earlier this month.

Police said that on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at around 2 a.m., officers from the 48th Precinct found a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head behind 4422 Third Avenue.

“EMS responded and transported the male to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased,” a police spokesperson said. “There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.”
