Officials: Pickens High School football player injured during game

PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The School District of Pickens County reports a high school football player was injured on Friday.

District officials said a student at Pickens High School was injured during the game against Berea High School and taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Details on the cause of the injury and its extent are unknown at this time.

His parents were with him, according to district officials.
