SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — This edition of Teacher of the Week goes to Jacqueline Walker, a first-grade teacher at Goliad Elementary!

Walker loves and appreciates her students and attributes her love for teaching to come from her mother, who was a teacher as well.

"My mom was a teacher," Walker said. "She started out at Head Start, and I got to see how, and it makes me want to tear up because my mom passed away, but just the way that she loved those babies, no matter what. She would come home and talk about them and the things that the kids were learning. And so ever since then, that's what my heart wanted to do."
