SEATTLE – A boy who received Cal Raleigh's 60th home run ball was briefly taken by stadium security to authenticate the ball. The young fan chose to trade the valuable ball for unique Mariners memorabilia and experiences.

He received an autographed bat from Cal Raleigh and an invitation to join a future batting practice session with the team.

Glenn Mutey Driscoll, who caught the ball and gave it to the boy, was also rewarded. The Mariners presented him with a Cal Raleigh autographed bat inscribed with "thanks for being a good guy and nice catch."

Raleigh is only the seventh major league player to hit 60 home runs in a season, making the ball worth more than $100,000. Despite its value, the boy opted for the special gifts from the Mariners.
