As The Big E fair in West Springfield heads into its final weekend, fairgoers have one last chance to indulge in quirky treats, shop for handmade goods and take in the festivities.

But with all of these outdoor plans in mind, many fairgoers are watching the weather.

It was just around 80 degrees in West Springfield at 5 p.m. on Friday evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are expected to dip down throughout the night, and could reach 56 degrees before sunrise on Saturday.

Saturday

Fog in the area on Saturday morning is expected to give way to mostly sunny skies in the daytime. High temperatures could reach up to 78 degrees, with the chance of a light breeze.
