ALLIANCE, Ohio (WJW) - Hundreds of people and well over 100 vehicles traveled to Alliance Friday night to give one special young boy a very big surprise.

Nine-year old Terence Harris, Jr. has been battling cancer since just before his second birthday.

He had beaten it three times and was looking forward to actually going to school for the 4th grade when the cancer returned.

“Originally, he was diagnosed with a tumor in his chest that he had surgically removed. He’s had two stem cell transplants and numerous trial medications,” said his mother, Brandi Harris. “This is the fourth time it’s come back and this time it’s really spread.”

Terence has four tumors inside his skull and another long tumor down his spine and will be starting aggressive radiation treatments.
