Dearborn — City officials know that Dearborn has an extensive flooding problem, and they have begun to outline a long-term, estimated $400 million solution, as well as some notable steps they've taken in the interim to stem the tide.
City leaders said they are embracing a five-step plan that would take an estimated 10-15 years to bring to fruition. It calls for constructing a new stormwater interceptor and three distinct separation projects that will reduce flow volume at the new interceptor, as well as the existing Miller Pump Station.
