Can we start with the music? On a recent Friday, spinning in the backroom of The Gemm, was everything from dum-dum -boys protogrunge (the Stooges' “I Wanna Be Your Dog”) to smart-bomb Irish electro-rap (Kneecap’s “H.O.O.D.”) to doom-generation goth-pop (She Wants Revenge’s “Tear You Apart”). And...that stretch of thrilling aural bon-bons was all in about a span of 20 minutes.
