MARION — Even Bill Belichick heard the buzz.

The legendary former New England Patriots head coach took a visit to Tabor Academy on Friday, Sept. 26 -- while his North Carolina Tar Heels are off this weekend -- to take in a high-profile Independent School League matchup between the hosts and Milton Academy.

The locals surely impressed.

Four-star Michigan QB commit Peter Bourque, of Hingham , threw five touchdown passes -- four of which to deep threat Trey Grant, of Fairhaven -- as Tabor Academy secured a 51-26 victory . Sophomore running back Lucas Fickeisen, of Marshfield, reached the end zone twice in the win.

Asked about the high-flying offense postgame, Bourque smiled and deferred credit to his five linemen, four of whom have local roots -- senior left guard Amahn Williams
