GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Week five of the high school football season kicked off Friday night, and while the temperatures stayed mild, the competition was quite the opposite. Teams faced off across West Michigan as we crossed the halfway point of the regular season.

For our Game of the Week we stopped by the Bird Bowl in Zeeland. Zeeland West took on Zeeland East, and both teams went into the night 3-1. It was an OK Gold Conference matchup that's been a bit one-sided in recent years.
