ELYSBURG — The two things that travel in high school football — defense and line of scrimmage — have long been standards at Southern Columbia.
In Friday night's Heartland-II matchup with Danville, the Tigers put on a vintage performance. Southern's first-team shut down Danville, allowing just one score on a one-yard drive and the Tigers dominated both lines of scrimmage in a controlled 41-21 win over the Ironmen at Tiger Stadium.
