CELINA – Sidelined by injury during part of the preseason, Celina junior Evan Koehne entered Friday’s District 7-4A Division I opener having carried the ball just two times all season.
By the end of the Bobcats’ top-10 showdown with Frisco Panther Creek, Koehne had amassed four rushing touchdowns and helped the reigning Class 4A Div. I state champions overcome their first fourth-quarter deficit of the season in a 35-28 home victory over the Panthers.
