TYLER, Texas (KETK) -- The Grace Community Cougars snapped their three-game losing streak on Friday night with a team effort win versus the Brentwood Christian Bears.

FINAL SCORE: Brentwood Christian 14 - Grace Community 33

The Cougars grabbed a much needed win over Brentwood Christian and the team is 1-0 in district play. Now is the perfect time for Grace to turn their season around in hopes of a playoff birth.

Next week, Grace will travel to their neighbors in Bullard and face off against the Brook Hill Guard on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.
