HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The annual Riofest festival kicked off Friday, featuring family-friendly activities and fun.
The festival has an exciting lineup featuring live performances by the Randy Rogers Band and Siggno, along with tributes to popular artists Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, and Emilio Navaira.
Families gathered at the Harlingen Baseball Field to enjoy live entertainment and activities for all ages.
ValleyCentral spoke with Araceli Chavez from Ramses Tacos.
Chavez enjoyed some bomba tacos, the signature dish from Ramses Tacos that includes bacon, avocado, bistec, cilantro, purple onions, and mozzarella cheese.
More food trucks, such as Ramses Tacos, are also offering a range of culinary delights at the festival.
The festivities will continue on Saturday at noon.
