BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Brownsville Police Department is warning parents and residents to keep an eye out for snacks containing THC, which are being packaged as popular name brands.

According to a news release from the Brownsville PD, two minors have been arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance after police discovered they had chips laced with THC.

The packaging of THC products resembles that of popular name-brand snacks. Authorities want to remind the public that these types of products can pose a danger, especially to younger children who may accidentally consume them.
