Woman taken to hospital after unit fire in Doubleview in Perth's north

A woman in her 70s has been rushed to hospital after a house fire in Perth's north.

Firefighters, police and four St John Ambulance crews were called to the unit, which is part of a complex on Hancock Street in Doubleview, just after 11am on Saturday.

A St John WA spokesperson said the woman was taken by ambulance to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital under priority one conditions.

Police said while the cause of the blaze was not believed to have been suspicious, the arson squad was sent to the scene. Loading... Loading
