More storms are expected across the Bullhead City area Saturday, following a rare landspout sighting and flash flooding that swept through parts of the tri-state region Friday afternoon.
Heavy rainfall dropped 0.33 inches in Bullhead City and 0.26 inches in Lake Havasu City, according to the National Weather Service. A flash flood occurred in Fort Mohave, while a landspout formed west of Laughlin near Cal-Nev-Ari between 2:45 and 3 p.m. The weather service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the area, which expired at 3:15 p.m. as the storm weakened. ×
