GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Artist Patrik Roggenbeau discovered a unique meaning of dreaming when he was researching aboriginal culture in Australia.

His latest work is an exploration into those roots, where dreaming is rooted in the connectivity of family, history and lineage. “Those who stop dreaming are lost” is an ArtPrize entry in the 3D category, located at DeVos Place Convention Center.

The process of making the piece began years ago, when Roggenbeau began the journey to becoming an American citizen and started on Native American culture.
