AKRON, Ohio — The regional finals are eight weeks away.

That could be an eternity for Archbishop Hoban and Walsh Jesuit, who are heavily favored to make it back to that stage, where they have met three times in the last four high school football seasons. Hoban’s Tim Tyrrell didn’t want to think about it Friday night after his team’s 19-14 win vs. Walsh, but the thought provided some solace to his counterpart.
