New York: Kamala Harris received two standing ovations before she even sat down at the Town Hall Theatre in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday night. Outside, pro-Palestine protesters banged drums that were audible for the second half of the hour-long event.
In an earlier session, protesters repeatedly interrupted the conversation, yelling: “The blood of the Palestinians is on your hands.” The agitators were shouted down by the crowd and removed.
