Waqf Board | Hyderabad, Sept 27 (Maxim News): : The Telangana Minorities Welfare Department has officially authorized Dr. Mohammed Safiullah , Deputy Secretary (Non-Cadre) of TG GENCO and currently serving as Director of the Telangana Urdu Academy , to sign cheques for key financial disbursements of the Telangana State Waqf Board .

This authorization covers the payment of honorarium to Imams and Mouzans for the months of June, July, and August 2025, as well as salaries of Waqf Board employees for August 2025 only.

The decision, issued via Memo No. 2973/Estt-II/2024 dated 26.09.2025 , comes following a formal request from the Chairman of the Telangana Waqf Board .
