A Johnsonville woman is accused of redeeming stolen lottery tickets, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

Germeane Roshelle Burgess, 19, is charged with intent to defraud, counterfeit game tickets.

Burgess is accused of redeeming 10 scratch-off tickets for $171 at the Five Points Superette, located at 425 Lake City Highway, Johnsonville, on Sept. 1.

SLED claims she stole the tickets that same day from Circle K 3237 located at 104 N Georgetown Highway in Johnsonville.

The S.C. Lottery Commission requested the SLED investigation.
