Prof. Uday Pratap Singh, Chairman of the Maharana Pratap Education Council and former Vice-Chancellor of Purvanchal University, died on Saturday (September 27). The 92-year-old had been keeping unwell for the past few months. Prof. Singh is survived by his sons Prof. VK Singh, former Vice-Chancellor of Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, and Prof. Rajiv Krishna Singh, Acharya of UP College.
