Families may be able to claim extra cash from the DWP even if they have a household income as high as £50,000.
Around 1.7 million households miss out on an average of £6,700 a year extra through Universal Credit (UC), the main benefit paid by the Government to lower-income Brits.
Some families may presume their combined income is too high to qualify but it's always worth checking if they could access extra help.
