State pensioners have been told the Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ) has dealt with all over-66s requesting state pension top-up callbacks.
More than half a million people sent the DWP callback requests about state pension top-ups ahead of a crunch deadline in April.
The Labour Party government has already dealt with all 56,300 requests, it has now confirmed in a response to Liberal Democrats work and pension spokesman Steve Darling MP.

Torsten Bell said: "In total, DWP received c528,000 call-back requests from customers ahead of the voluntary National Insurance Contributions (VNICS) deadline of 5 April 2025. The Department has taken a two-stage approach to actioning these req
