MINNEAPOLIS — Rutgers is on the road for the first time this fall.
The Scarlet Knights (3-1, 0-1) face Minnesota (2-1) at Huntington Bank Stadium on Saturday in their first away game of the season.
Head coach Greg Schiano’s team will look to defeat the Golden Gophers for the second consecutive year in a contest that is filled to the brim with storylines.
Schiano will face his protégé PJ Fleck for the third time since returning to Rutgers. They split their first two meetings, with the former Rutgers wide receivers coach winning in Minneapolis and Schiano winning in Piscataway last fall.
Fleck will face his former quarterback in Athan Kaliakmanis for the second time after last season’s game in Piscataway went Rutgers’ way.
