A young band of talented Athletics have clinched a third straight winning month and point to the sustained run as signs that they can compete for a playoff berth in 2026.

The A's are also one of the hottest teams down the stretch of the season and look to win for the 11th time in 15 games when they face the Kansas City Royals on Saturday night at West Sacramento, Calif.
