Mesa County and the state Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management are conducting a survey to learn more about nonagricultural impacts of this year’s Turner Gulch Fire.
The county and state are inviting nonagricultural producers and supplier businesses that were impacted by fire to complete a business impact survey to help local, tribal and state authorities better understand the fire’s effects on the business community.
This summer’s Turner Gulch Fire burned about 31,700 acres east of Gateway.
The survey is gathering information on both economic stressors and physical damages businesses may be facing. Business impacts may include things such as disruptions to operations, staffing shortages, lost revenue, inventory loss, increased operating costs and delayed operations. Ph
