JAMESTOWN — The Arts Center has expanded its Arts After School program to provide classes for younger and older children, according to Cole Carpenter, director of education and exhibitions.

Carpenter said they’re offering a new program this fall to students in grades 6-8, giving them an opportunity to expand on art skills they might already have or want to develop.

Traditional Arts After School serves students in grades 3-6, he said.

“Arts After School is an after-school program focusing on some sort of … class project based around visual arts,” Carpenter said. “We also bring in some performing arts and literary arts courses, but a lot of it stays around visual arts.”
