GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities say one person is dead and two have been hospitalized following a Friday night crash in Greenville County.

Corporal David Jones with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 9:35 p.m. on Locust Hill Road. Jones said a 2011 Subaru SUV was heading west on the highway and a 2009 Honda four-door vehicle was heading east. Investigators said the Honda crossed the center lane and hit the Subaru. The two people in the Subaru were taken to an area hospital for treatment. The driver, who was the only occupant of the Honda, died.

Jones said the crash is still under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
