RIDGELAND, Miss. (WJTV) - The City of Ridgeland will host the inaugural Pecan Festival in October 2025.

The event will be held at Freedom Ridge Park on October 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. City leaders said this will be a day of music, food and fun that will build off of the momentum of Ridgeland's 125th anniversary year.

In 2024, the city celebrated its 125th anniversary with a year filled with milestones and special events. One of the highlights was the designation of the Pecan as the official city tree.
