The family of missing teen Samuel Bird has issued a public appeal for financial help so they can keep their search going.

Bird went missing from his west Edmonton home on June 1, and his family and friends have been conducting searches throughout the area in hopes of bringing the boy home. But, the family says they are running out of resources. As well, time is running short before autumn and winter weather patterns hamper search efforts.

“Every day since Samuel’s disappearance four months ago, my family and I have been searching for my son — we have not been sitting back idly, waiting for answers,” said the boy’s father, Justin B. Bird, in a release.
