DALLAS — Police are investigating after they say a man was shot and killed in Downtown Dallas early Saturday morning.
Police responded to the shooting call in the 500 block of N. Akard Street around 2:30 a.m. and determined the man had been shot by an unknown suspect, officials say.
Dallas Fire-Rescue also responded, and the man was taken to a local hospital, where he later died, according to a press release. The man was not identified.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No other details about a suspected shooter or the man who was shot were immediately available.
