DALLAS — Police are investigating after they say someone was shot and killed in South Dallas early Saturday.
Officers responded to the shooting call in the 2700 block of Lenway Street around 1 a.m. and determined someone had been shot by an unknown suspect, officials say.
Dallas Fire-Rescue also responded and took the person to a local hospital, where the person died, according to a press release. The person who was shot was not identified.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No other details about a suspected shooter or the person who was shot were immediately available.
