St. John’s takes the spotlight today as part of Music Day Canada, a coast-to-coast celebration of live music in support of The Lemmon Foundation.
Michael Scriven, the executive director of The Lemmon Foundation, says St. John’s has always been a city where music thrives in its pubs, on its stages, and in its community spirit.
Proceeds from the event support the foundation’s ongoing mission to strengthen Canada’s music ecosystem.
Performers tonight at The Ship Pub include Rachel Cousins, Rodney Slade, Andrew Rogers, and husband and wife duo Brian and Tara Byrne.
The event begins at 8:30.
