The much-anticipated Strictly Come Dancing season is finally here, with 15 celebrities ready to strut their stuff in the first live show.

Among the line-up are Gladiators legend Harry Aikines-Aryeetey (known to fans as Nitro), Doctor Who star Alex Kingston and footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. They'll be joining EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal, Youtube sensation George Clarke, RuPaul's Drag Race UK performer La Voix, rugby union player Chris Robshaw and model Ellie Goldstein.

Also competing for the glitterball trophy are controversial Apprentice star Thomas Skinner, presenter Vicky Pattison, Neighbours' Stefan Dennis, Lorraine star Ross King and former footballer Karen Carney.
