The Mike Gundy-less Cowboys are moving on without their legendary head coach this week as Oklahoma State hosts Baylor at Boone Pickens Stadium

The Pokes fired Gundy earlier this week after losing to Tulsa to start the season 1-2. Gundy was the skipper of his alma mater for more than 20 years and was the winningest coach in the program’s history with 170 victories. Despite many years of success, the Cowboys have struggled recently, including a 3-9 record in the 2024 season where they went winless in Big 12 play and missed a bowl game for the first time in 18 years. New offensive coordinator Doug Meacham takes over as interim head coach.
