FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fayetteville city leaders are proposing a $320 million bond for essential city improvements, to be voted on in March 2026.

About two-thirds of the bond would fund water, sewer and transportation projects to support growth, according to a news release. The bond would be financed through the existing one-penny sales tax, with no tax increase.

“The initiatives in this bond tie back to housing, jobs and our local economy,” Mayor Molly Rawn said. “When we invest in reliable water and sewer, safe roads and accessible parks, we’re building the foundation for families, businesses and Fayetteville’s future.”
