Emergency services are still cleaning up a huge blaze at Hillarys Boat Harbour in Perth’s north, after a boat caught fire in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Firefighters rushed to battle a ferocious boat blaze about 10.45am, after multiple triple zero calls were received and thick smoke poured from a luxurious moored vessel.

The fire was brought under control about 11.30am and managed to be contained to just one boat.

Crews stayed on the scene until early afternoon as a precautionary measure.

No-one was onboard the vessel at the time of the fire.

Department of Fire and Emergency Services district officer Steve Lusk told The West Australian about 30 firefighters and Sea Rescue battled the blaze to ensure everyone was safe.
