Orlando City was back to winning ways last time out on Sept. 20, prevailing at home over Nashville SC 3-2 thanks to a last-minute goal from Duncan McGuire.
The Lions (14-7-9, 51 points) next play at FC Cincinnati (18-9-4, 58 points) on Sunday at 7 p.m. in what promises to be an exciting matchup with playoff implications.
“They’re a good team, so I’m expecting a hard match,” Orlando City defender Kyle Smith said. “They have a good stadium. They pack it out; [they have] good fans.
“It’s a playoff game at this point. It’s a playoff-caliber team, and we’re trying to win from here on out to get the momentum into the playoffs.”
For Cincinnati, every game is a must-win in its race with Philadelphia (60 points) for the MLS Supporters’ Shield.
