Strictly Come Dancing fans were quick to claim a 'set up' as it was Chris Robshaw who became the first celebrity to perform during the debut of the 2025 live shows.

The former England rugby captain is among the 15 celebrities taking part in the BBC One dance contest this year, and was seen making his debut in the ballrom during ast weekend's launch show.

It was revealed at the time that he would be paired with professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova, and they were the first out to perform the first couple routine of the series on Saturday night (September 17).

The first live show of the series saw the new couples take to the dance floor for the first time, with them being scored by the judges - Craig Revel Horwood, Motis Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke.
