VINELAND — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mikie Sherrill is scheduled to host a rally Saturday evening in Cumberland County, days after records surfaced linking her to a cheating scandal at the U.S. Naval Academy in the 1990s.
Sherrill will speak at 7 p.m. at the Ramada by Wyndham at 2216 W. Landis Ave. According to a news release from her campaign, Sherrill intends to discuss her plans to lower costs, protect children and bring transparency to Trenton while encouraging New Jerseyans to vote.
The Vineland appearance follows one Saturday afternoon at her field office in Willingboro, Burlington County, where she is expected to appear alongside U.S. Sen. Andy Kim, D-N.J.
